The monothematic set of fifteen monochromatic ballpoint pen drawings from the years 2005 – 2007 depicts mainly factories and industrial buildings which were built roughly between 1920s and 1960s according to the projects by the German architects F. Schupp and M. Kremmer and apart from these also storage and operational objects in the area of (not only) Bohemia. The individual “landscapes” are thus dominated by mainly dilapidated, deserted and in some cases still functioning technical buildings which could – up to a certain extent – be understood as a kind of metaphor referring to the contemporary lifestyle of our post industrial civilization.

The main – though definitely not the only – goal of the project is a reminder of the specific beauty of industrial architecture; and last but not least – the author intended to pay tribute to avant-garde art.
